The Osenovlag Monastery "Holy Mother of God," also known as the Seven Altars, is located near Osenovlag village in the Vratsa Balkan. It is believed to have been established during the time of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom (1185–1393).
According to legend, the monastery was founded by seven brothers or seven boyars. The monastery church features seven separate altars, making it the only temple in Bulgaria with this specific architectural layout. The monastery is well-known for its unique architecture and spiritual significance.
Today, the site remains an active spiritual center, attracting pilgrims and tourists alike who seek tranquility, history, and beautiful natural surroundings.
